A Lil' Catch Up…

Hey palz,

Been a while hasn't it, my bad! I don't even know why I have abandoned this blog but I've not been very motivated and had no idea what to even write about, my friends seem to think my tragic life would be a good start - I might take their advice. I thought I'd do a little update in case anyone in the universe is even slightly interested.

  • I finished my first year at uni! I completed all my work, submitted everything and here I am bored off my tits. I've spent the last two days colouring in…how very adult of me.
  • I went to Scotland and Sweden over the Easter holiday and they were both sick and I got very merry in two new countries, well done to myself. I feel like I should have done a post about the both of them because both holidays were super fun. In Scotland we done a lot of stuff, more than I thought we would! We went paint balling which was an experience and I got hit in the arse and hit my friend in the arse, so that's a success in my eyes. In Sweden we walked about, saw how beautiful the country is and one night got merry, went out, I spoke and complimented a dodgy looking hot dog seller outside of a club, so that was an experience.
Loch Ness with my 7 best pals!

In Sweden with a Swede and a German.
  • I went to see The Vamps a couple of times, that was fun, Brad was dreamy. I also saw All Time Low twice in a weekend AND MET ALEX GASKARTH BLEGH. MY 12 YEAR OLD DREAM WAS FULFILLED AND MY FOREHEAD FLEW OUT WHAT IN THE DICK?!?!?!
Hiding the dreaded forehead with Alex G x
  • 5 Seconds of Summer came back for a little bit and I managed to see Ashton and he tapped me on the shoulder like we were old pals, little did he know I was very hungover and had puked 3 times that morning. Oops.
  • I bought a pinafore and it should be worldwide news because it's beauts.

I'm not sure what else has happened the past few months, definitely nothing of interest.

I'm comin' back ladz, I might even be hitting up YouTube but we'll see.

See ya x x x

Blogmas: Day Nine! 5SOS Edition.

Hiiiiiiyaaaa from a very dazed and confused Shannon!

Last night I (stupidly) slept outside Radio 1 like the crazy mother I am, 5SOS are back in the country and of course my life goes up the shitter and all hell breaks loose. It was so cold, it was a very stupid decision but the things you do for Australians. I mean it was SO cold, like deadly cold. This morning we go barrier and met the lovely lads, they are honestly my favourite people on Earth (apart from my mum, dad and brother) and even though Michael was absent it was still lovely to see the rest of them.

I haven't seen them in any form since July, I mean I'd always take a gig over meeting them but at this point I would've taken any opportunity because there was a big 5 Seconds of Summer shaped hole in my heart.

Luke and Calum were nice as per, it was cold though they weren't bouncing off the walls. BUT ASHTON. Oh good lord, see heres the thing with Ashton - since I met them at Warped Tour last year me and Ashton have always just had a sweet little thing. Every time he sees me he recognises me or looks at me like he knows who I am but can't quite put his finger on it and it's just very lovely. Today he looked at me and with wide eyes was like "Hello! it's so good to see you, how are you?!" and I was like "awww I know it's been so long hasn't it" and he said aw and patted me on the arm like we were old pals and it WAS SO FRICKEN CUTE. Honestly, it made my day because he never, ever fails to make me smile. He's just so polite and thoughtful for remembering every single time, he means what he says and that's just sweet.

My pictures are dreadful, I am Rudolph in human form and my face was puffy as balls but here are the pictures.

After all that I slept for 3 hours and now feel like absolute dogs bollocks oh my god. But we're having our flat Christmas meal tonight, cute! Although we have no pigs in blankets, so it's like hmm…what does one even do about that situation. I'll let you know how that went tomorrow!

For now, I hope you have a good 9th December!

My Tattoos & Their Meanings.

Hiiiiiii!

A few weeks ago I finally plucked up the courage to get permanent ink on my skin, you know…it's literally never coming off. For about a year and a half I'd had these tattoo ideas and after much stressing and sweating I finally got them done. For one thing, the pain is literally not bad at all and that's what I was worried about most, palms were sweaty, knees weak, arms were heavy (thank you, Eminem). But I don't think many people apart from my pals know exactly why I got what I got, so I'm going to tell you whether you like it or not, whether you really give two shits or not, YOU'RE GOING TO KNOW.

Firstly, the tattoo on the side of my wrist…

(I took these photos when it was first done, I can't seem to get a good one right now and I can't put myself through the stress of taking a good one, IT'S STRESSING ME OUT, MAN)

Okay, so I was originally going to get three generic hearts, one for my mum, one for my dad and one for my brother. Then I was like, no I want them to mean more to me than just that! So I got them all to draw a heart each, it goes my mum, dad and then my brother at the bottom. They aren't the neatest things in the world but I don't care one little bit, they drew them and I'll always have a tiny little piece of them literally on me forever and I love that! They could've turned out looking like acorns or something but they didn't, they look like hearts and that's good enough for me. I just wanted them to do something for me because my family are my life, any little thing like this just makes me feel all warm inside. Cute, I'm cute as frick.

Secondly, the tattoo on my inner forearm…

Do you recognise these lyrics? Maybe. They're from 'Beside You' by 5 Seconds of Summer. Now I didn't get this tattoo for the purpose of 5SOS, they might be my favourite band but I just wouldn't personally get a tattoo dedicated to a band. Back in January/February last year this song was the first I heard by them and immediately this lyric stuck out, I didn't really know who they were at this point so for me to immediately be like "I WANT THIS LYRIC ON MY BODY" means it must've meant a lot, right? Yes it does! 'My heart wants to come home' for me this means that wherever I am in the world my heart will always hold a special place for home, my family and everything about where I'm from. I'm leaving for University and you know I'll look down at my arm whenever I'm missing home, my heart might want to be home but I'll be living my dream, but everyone will know that home has such a special place in my heart. I must thank 5 Seconds of Summer for creating one of the most beautiful lyrics to come into my life. And I absolutely dig the font I chose, it's like a broken typewriter font and I love it so much.

I still look at my arm and I'm like wow, man, I've got two fricken cute tattoos on me forever with lovely meanings and I really love them so much.

TATTOOS RULE.

Where We Are Tour 2014!

Hiiiii! So this weekend my friend Libby and I travelled all the way up to Manchester to see One Direction and 5 Seconds Of Summer on the Where We Are Tour and it was very, very fun!

It's been a while since I've seen One Direction, the last time was April last year and since then I've changed my views on them a lot and stopped spending my time and effort on them so I wasn't really excited to see them, I was mostly looking forward to watching my favourite Aussie foursome rock out on that huge stage (which was very weird as I'm used to seeing them in small venues). Anyway, One Direction really did seem to gain a little bit of my love back.

Last week wasn't the best for One Direction with the whole weed smoking drama so I think some people were a bit wary of the tour from that moment onwards, but even with me and my friend Libby hurling weed related jokes at them the whole time - not in a malicious way, but just in a 'we are drunk what are we even saying' way - on our first night of the tour (31st May) I think a lot of people had brushed it to the side.

5 Seconds Of Summer opened the show and smashed it, we were the only ones around us going absolutely mental, showing our love for the boys and I think they won over the crowd so I'm very proud of them for that because I've seen them play a show to 200 people and then they're now playing shows to 60,000+ - pretty mad! But they were awesome and got the crowd going. They managed to do that both nights I went and I'm so proud of them, their 10 song set list was great and included songs that a lot of the crowd seemed to know like their number 1 single She Looks So Perfect, their cover of Katy Perry's Teenage Dream and their new single Don't Stop. This is a big platform for the boys again as was the Take Me Home tour last year!

One Direction then hit the stage starting off with Midnight Memories and the show went from there, upbeat songs from all 3 albums and they were accompanied by fireworks all night which made me jump multiple times the second night when I was sober and was aware of everything going on, oh my god. There were floods of screaming girls everywhere, even right next to us on the second night this one little girl did not stop screaming the whole time, I don't think any other words fell out of her mouth - just a long scream for 2 hours… delightful. During Little Things on the second night there were 2 little girls behind me who just looked like they were loving life and didn't have a care in the world about anything else and with that and simply just the atmosphere in the Etihad Stadium, I started to well up because it reminded me of what I was like when I was probably their age watching McFly and Busted, it just made me emotional and looking back it's hilarious but at the time I wanted to curl up in a ball and cry hahaha. Niall looked so happy at some points, well they all did but Niall seemed to stick out for me (he also looked VERY nice on the Sunday night with his ripped jeans, god damn) and Liam too, he seemed very appreciative of what they were doing. This weekend was technically a set of homecoming shows for Harry and they made that clear when they sung 'Don't Forget Where You Belong'.

All in all it was an amazing night I must admit, I had a great weekend and I'll be doing my last tour date on the 8th June at Wembley Stadium in London which will be something else. One Direction do put on a good show despite all the things I've said the last year, they are good artists regardless and the Where We Are Tour is pretty special.

What Happened This Week?!

Hiii! I'm super crap with posting on here regularly, I have no excuse apart from lack of motivation and stuff but hopefully soon enough that will all change!

This week was interesting, let's see what some big points were…

5 Seconds Of Summer hit number 1 in the UK Top 40!

Yep, I spoke about them previously (I speak about them everyday, they're my favourite band DUH.) But they did it, they hit number 1 with She Looks So Perfect. They're the 4th Australian artist to get a debut number 1 and the first Australian artist to get a number 1 in 14 years (Kylie had that crown, maybe they can go out for tea) but anyway, how amazing is that?! Four teenage, Aussie lads taking over the world one country at a time. This was such a far fetched thing to even think about only a year ago, a year ago on the 7th April I saw them and met them at a little acoustic gig at the Camden Barfly and a year later they're set to go on their first headline American tour, another Australian tour and then joining One Direction yet again on their worldwide stadium tour. Not bad at all for some boys playing guitars from Western Sydney, they definitely deserve it though so if their name isn't already engraved in your memory then do that now because they aren't going anywhere anytime soon!

Brooklyn Beckham makes everyone swoon…

This boy was always going to make a name for himself with the parents he's got and well the genes he's inherited, but he's going it alone and making his way onto the cover of magazines. For a 15 year old he worked those photos and you can tell that pre-teens across the world were very heart eyes over him (maybe even old girls too but can I even say that?). The photos were taken by Alasdair McLennan for Man About Town magazine and I can see more modelling in the near future. Definitely following in his parents footsteps but in his own way, whether it's the modelling or the football I'm sure we'll see a lot of him for many years.

Ed Sheeran announces new album!

YES, 3 years after his first album '+' was released he's finally releasing a new album called 'x' or as he said in his tweet - 'multiply', so there's for sure a trend I can almost see into the future with the next 2 albums (psychic me). I'm so excited about this because his first album is still super good and you can still listen to it so many times and never get bored, this is so exciting I can hardly even talk about it because years of work has clearly gone into this and that just screams THAT IT IS GOING TO BE AMAZING.

23rd of June is the release date so let's just prepare for that, like cancel everything we need to prepare.

Thanks for reading - if you read, does anyone even read this…hello? Anyway, I'm going to try and make this more frequent and I've said that loads of times before but I have a busy life of breathing and stuff so you know…I'll try my best!

Watch Out For 5 Seconds Of Summer!

YES, it's official, it is only a few more days until my favourite band '5 Seconds Of Summer' release their debut UK single 'She Looks So Perfect'. So you all need to watch out for this band, okay?!

They've been together almost 3 years, and in that time they have blossomed into this awesome, little, Aussie band. I say little, but they're not little at all. They did their own thing on YouTube for a while, toured Australia with Hot Chelle Rae, released their first EP in Aus (Somewhere New), toured the world with One Direction and have done many shows over here in the UK, Australia and are due to go on tour in a couple of weeks in America on their first headline tour over there! They aren't doing too badly for a band that hasn't even got an album out yet!

I know I'm being totally and utterly biased when I say how good they are but I'm nothing but honest… they're great. I can't wait to see how the single does in the charts next week, so you need to go and pre-order it now on iTunes (or simply just buy it on Sunday 23rd March).

If you haven't heard the single yet you can watch the video below!

Quirky song lyrics and a weird (but good) video, WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT?!

you can get the single/EP here!

Help get these boys the success and recognition they deserve, because you won't find any 4 teenage boys that work as hard as they do! So if you want to see good music re-enter the charts then you must back these lads.

2013 Personal Highlights

Hello! It's been a while since I posted but once again I've just had a lack of motivation to post on here but as soon as 2014 comes I will be back, for sure!

It is nearly Christmas which means it is almost the new year, last year I did a few of my personal highlights but this year has been so good there is no way I could put it down to a top 10 so I'm just going to go through each month - this is mainly for me to look back on and remember how good this year was for me despite the large amount of lows I had too, let's get on with it!

-JANUARY-

Liam Payne followed me on twitter - This was the one thing that just started the year off for me, never did I think that would happen! I was just sat in the car as he was doing a follow spree and I'm not about that spamming life so I just kept following and unfollowing him and finally gave up, a few minutes later I looked on my phone to see 'Liam Payne followed you' - I thought it was a fake account but it wasn't and you would think a follow is nothing but my hyperventilating proved that maybe it was something special!

Discovered 5 Seconds Of Summer - little did I know how much of an influence they would have on this year being amazing.

-FEBRUARY-

Luke Hemmings followed - although I did not react the same way as Liam because to me 5sos are very normal boys, it was just quite nice before they got v famo. (He only had 47k now he has over a million followers, crazy).

Take Me Home Tour round 1 - you can read all about that here!

Other little good bits from February include getting a tweet from Ashton Irwin but like I said, to me they are just normal boys it's like talking to a pal. Although this was not a 'highlight' it's stuck in my mind because I was freezing cold and I thought my toes were going to fall off - waiting to meet Little Mix, failed miserably, not a good day at all.

-MARCH-

March was a good month for Twitter for me, 5SOS band account had followed and tweeted me and Michael Clifford followed me after I was sending him funny tweets in a desperate plea for him to follow me, but did I even leave my house that month?

-APRIL-

Take Me Home Tour round 2 - this was INSANE, I was 6th row with my friend India and it was just crazy and it was so fun, I was so grateful for the seats I had because you feel at the heart of it all - just amazing.

3 Calum Hood tweets and followed - he properly cheered me up that month he was so lovely and it was all in the space of like a week, I was like 'are we pals yet?'.

Final Take Me Home date (round 3) - this was my final TMH tour date and I was sat right up the top of the O2 it was so weird going from being 6th row a few days before but in a way it was so amazing to watch the crowd below and around me sing along to every song and I definitely welled up a lot, especially during Little Things because the crowd looked beautiful so I can imagine how it feels to be One Direction seeing that kind of reaction every single night.

5SOS London Acoustic & meeting them - this was 5 Seconds Of Summers first acoustic show in the UK and it was so intimate and nice and then we got to meet them after and I was nervous but I have no idea why because as I've said before, they're just normal boys! They were all really lovely and it left me super happy although my pictures did not, they were not very good.

Other good moments of April were being interacted with even further by 5sos on Twitter, it made me realise what nice guys they are and how much time they put into their fans by interacting with their fans all the time.

-MAY-

My brother got engaged! - this was a BIG moment of the year even though I always forget he is even engaged but I can't wait for him and my future sister-in-law (that feels weird to type) to get married!

5SOS London show - as always it was nice to see them live, they always put on good shows and it was the last show before they went back to Australia before they started the American leg of the TMH tour with One Direction, but the show was awesome and is a definite highlight of the year!

This month was the last month of this year that I actually got interacted with by 5 Second Of Summer, but that just goes to show how much harder it is to get noticed because they're getting so big and popular and I am proud of them, they've come very far this year!

-JUNE-

Left Sixth Form - yup, I did all of my A-Level exams and left education and that was just really weird.

Also this month we drove to our friends house and put a cheeseburger and chips on our friends car and just drove off, it was such a random thing to do but we still speak about it because at the time it was so funny BUT YOU HAD TO BE THERE - it was one of those moments.

-JULY-

My 18th Birthday - This was a day I had been dreading because growing up scares me so much! But it was a really good birthday as all my life I have wanted an Apple Macbook and I got one and I was just so grateful, it became like my child that day. I was surrounded by family and that makes any birthday good for me! Although my mum and dad put up pictures of me all around the estate with 'Happy 18th Shannon', I was kind of fuming to be honest and I might have ripped one or two down.

McFly at Stratford - STRESSFUL DAY. Me and my friend Libby went to Ipswich train station and stood there for about 4 hours because the lines were all shut as a man was stood on the roof of the station and it was such a bad start to the day but in the end we managed to finally get to stratford and were at the front to watch McFly and they proved to me why they had been my favourite band for 10 years! But they got cut off and Danny chucked his microphone into the crowd and I kinda wish I had been hit by it BECAUSE THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN A STORY TO TELL?

-AUGUST-

A Level results & getting into university - So all year I had been putting the idea of university out of my head because I just knew I wouldn't get in but on results day I went onto UCAS and saw that I had been accepted into my firm and insurance and all I could do was cry because I wasn't expecting it, I didn't even get the grades to get in so I don't know how I managed it. For days after I was just crying because I didn't know what to do but I then chose to defer and I'm now super looking forward to starting uni in September 2014!

One Direction This Is Us Premiere - We went down to Leicester Square on a Monday afternoon and that was going to be our home for the night, we slept on the ground, I fell over, I paid 20p a time to use the toilets, WHAT A NIGHT. The next day came around and we went into the orange pen and I was so pumped up like I thought this would be my moment to meet one direction but nope, it was definitely not because when you're around crazy One Direction fans you just have no chance, I am still bitter about this day. I was so close to finally meeting them, when I say so close I mean centimetres away from them and all I came out with was bad selfies of me and the back of their heads. You can watch my time at the premiere in this video! Danny Jones was a complete legend that day.

Reading Festival - One of the best weekends of my life, let alone year! Despite the disgusting smell of the toilets, the trek to find a place for our tent which left me wanting to just fall into the ground, not having a shower for a few days, people falling on our tent and having me on edge all night; it was the greatest weekend without a doubt. The line up of artists wasn't my favourite but it was so good so that doesn't matter. I got very merry during Green Day and that night will stay with me forever. I cannot wait for Reading 2014, bring on Blink 182 GAAAH.

-SEPTEMBER-

McFly RAH 10 Year Anniversary shows - you can read about my day here! and watch the video below!

This month was the month my friends all went away for University and it changed the whole last few months of the year, it's been weirder than I thought it would be but I still love them as much as I did before they left. It makes you appreciate your friendships even more than you already did!

-OCTOBER-

Road trip to Sheffield & Birmingham - Me and a few of my friends went up to Sheffield and Birmingham to visit our friends at their universities and it was so cool to experience 'uni life' for a couple of days, it gave me a little bit of a taste of what the fun part of university is like so I'm just that tiny bit more prepared for next year. It was super fun and met some nice people!

-NOVEMBER-
AKA THE BEST MONTH OF THIS WHOLE YEAR.

McBusted announced their tour - This was not only one of my highlights of the year but it has also been one of the biggest talking points of the year, they've sold out so many shows and are constantly adding more dates and I was lucky enough to get tickets and I cannot wait!

Welcomed 5SOS back to the UK - We went to the airport to welcome them back and it was so weird seeing how many people turned up to do the same thing, it is just so weird to see their fanbase and their popularity growing right in front of me.

Met 5 Seconds Of Summer many times! - The ultimate highlight of my whole year was this, it was just the best month because I got to see my favourite people 3 out of 4 weekends in November and actually got to have conversations with them which is all I've wanted all year because to me they're just similar teenagers to me, they like and do the same things...well I don't tour the world and I'm not in a band, but you know! It was so cool to go to Warped Tour with my friend Libby and just see them strolling around and being normal people because that is what I like to see, although I didn't bother them until we were outside and so were they, I wouldn't have wanted to disturb them inside, me and my friend enjoyed the music as did they. I've wanted to go to Warped Tour almost all my life because it just sounds so awesome and it was and to speak to my favourite band after just topped it all off, it was seriously the best month just being able to meet the people that make me happiest when days are rough.

5SOS Koko Shows - 2 nights in a row I saw them put on yet more amazing shows, the set list was just awesome and to see Luke sing a song all on his own and just watch the crowd sing it back to him was beautiful. The 2nd night we queued all day in hope of getting near the front and I was until some crazy people in the crowd were making it go mental during the support act which meant I went to the back but we had a sick time just having a little party by ourselves at the back and watching the boys do their thing on stage!

That month I also met Dougie Poynter and that was quite nice to see him, the last time I met him was 2010 so it was a long time coming!

-DECEMBER-

Not much has happened this month but I hope to have a lovely Christmas with my family and a great new year.

This post was for me more than anything but if you liked it then follow on here and bloglovin if you'd like!

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

'Never Underestimate A Girls Love For Her Favourite Band'

Hiiiii!

As I spent Friday evening/Saturday morning at Heathrow airport waiting for 4 of my favourite boys to arrive in the UK (5 Seconds Of Summer) it made me think about how much time and effort I put into bands. I will spend hours on end waiting around for a band and half the time I gain nothing but a wave from it, why do I do it? That's the question everyone always asks me, well I'm going to tell you why myself and many, many others do things like that!

It's not about meeting a band to say you've met them for me, it's about being around the people you look up to the most, the people who are there without intending to be when no one else is around! Just to see a band I love makes me super happy and if I can get a picture and have a chat then that's a massive bonus.

I've had many low points, especially this year and I've always fallen back onto music, music is SO powerful sometimes people forget just how powerful it can be. I'll listen to my favourite bands and be happy a little while later and that's something special.

My friends and some of my family just don't understand why I do it and I'm sure if you're like me then your friends and family are the same, but it's just something I love to do I mean I don't do it all the time - I don't have the money or knowledge for that! But when I do I just hope for the best and if the best happens then that's great, if it doesn't then it's a shame but the only thing I can do is try.

This weekend I got pictures with 3/4 of 5 Seconds Of Summer and I really just wanted to have some hugs and a chat with them but unfortunately it was too busy to happen and I could've met them earlier in the year when they were less known but again just lack of money, life is tough sometimes haha!

Anyway, if you're like me and you love a band and will go out of your way to see them then don't stop just because everyone else thinks you're a bit weird for doing things like that, if that's the way you have fun then carry on! I always have a laugh at things like that and most of the time I'll talk to other people there and everyone just gets along, it's just nice.

Big Steps...

I once touched up on the subject in a piece of school work about how famous people can get through the power of YouTube. Since I can remember I've wanted to make a YouTube channel, unfortunately I've never had the confidence to do so, I'm hoping one day I will! ANYWAY, I've always watched YouTubers and admired them...they all are so funny and talented in their own ways. Even if their talent is just making people laugh.

Over the last couple of years there's been a boom in British YouTubers. The likes of Jack Harries (JacksGap) and his twin brother Finn, Marcus Butler (MarcusButlerTV), Alfie Deyes (PointlessBlogTV) and two best pals Louise (Sprinkleofglitter) and Zoe or Zoella as most know her (Zoella280390). They've all grown such a huge following, Zoe even reached a goal of 1 Million subscribers yesterday- madness.

I think it's amazing how easily people can get noticed nowadays, it's so good to make a platform like that for people. Everyone has an equal opportunity to make something of their lives, they just have to have a bit of wit and know what they're going to base their channel on.

YouTube is also a massive platform for aspiring singers, lets use an obvious example which is so typical of me to talk about - 5 Seconds of Summer. An Aussie band (NOT a boyband) who just started off on YouTube but are now supporting One Direction on a world tour. That is totally mental, the right person finds you on YouTube and you turn into a someone instead of just a 'nobody' immediately - although, they definitely weren't nobodies at all.

I haven't posted on here in a while due to lack of motivation, nothing taking my interest and just general problems in my silly head. But I will definitely try a lot more to post in the future, I've just had a few off months!

Take Me Home Tour

Well, the night finally came (after a year of waiting), it was the day I would be seeing One Direction on their world wide tour. It felt even more special because I was attending the first day of the tour and I just felt like this was the start of something massive and I was there to experience it. I was sat in block B2, row B and as I walked down the stairs to my seats I was hyperventilating because not only was I fairly close to the front stage, I was about 5 rows away from the second stage - HOW EXCITING.

They had two support acts, one 13 year old girl (I thought she was about 26, not going to lie) who is American and called Camryn. As she is only 13 there is no doubt that she can sing but my oh my, she was boring. No one was standing up so I did feel very sorry for her but I don't think she was really what 20,000 people were looking for. The second support act was 5 Seconds of Summer, amazing. They were so good and I'm glad I'd begun listening to them before they were announced as the support act because they really are so talented, all so cute too oh my god.

Ok, the time had come for the boys to come on stage and they played videos on the screens of them at a house party which sent everyone mad (I swear, I didn't cry). They came on and the first song they sung was 'Up All Night', the ultimate party song because you can just go mad...I definitely went mad. They had a 20 song set list and it was just amazing. All wore such nice outfits, they looked very spiffing. The stage was set out with massive screens, at one point they had put a view of London over the screens obviously enthusing their Britishness. At one point they came across the crowd on a floating platform singing 'Change My Mind' off the Take Me Home album and okay, this was very exciting. They came right over us and Zayn and Liam waved at me and my friends and I WAS DYING. I was literally almost falling to the floor and I am pretty sure Liam saw me, that's a bit tragic isn't it? After that they went onto the second stage and sung their Red Nose Day single but changed it a bit and sung more of Teenage Kicks. They all looking banging up close and oh my god, I could not handle it. The night went on, they went back and continued to put on an amazing show.

During costume changes they played videos on the screen that they had made and one of the videos was of the boys dressing up as other people - Louis dressed up as a large man asking for free hugs in the street, at the end of his clips he hugged a young girl and revealed his true identity and I may have cried a little bit because it was very cute. Liam and Harry dressed up as an old couple, doing old couple sort of things and then being mischievous and running about. Then we had Zayn and Niall dressing up as...I don't even know, they looked old and hippy-like, quite ugly actually but it was very funny.
The show was so amazing and they made it amazing for the whole crowd, when they sung 'Little Things' they expressed how amazing it was to watch the crowd with all their lights out. It was amazing to be there so I can only imagine how they felt.

As ever, it was such an incredible night and I loved it more than anything (oh, look at me) and they will continue to put on amazing shows throughout the tour. They really are something else.
(Of course I had to take selfies because I was so close)
